Destination Weddings
How a Destination Wedding Can Save You Money
When you think of a destination wedding, you might picture a luxurious, once-in-a-lifetime getaway—but did you know that saying "I do" in a dreamy location can actually cost less than a traditional wedding? Here’s how choosing a destination wedding could be the budget-friendly option you never expected.
1. Smaller Guest List = Lower Costs
Most destination weddings naturally have a more intimate guest list. With fewer people to accommodate, you'll spend less on catering, seating, and favors—allowing you to focus your budget on creating a truly special experience for your closest loved ones.
2. Built-In Décor & Scenic Beauty
Traditional weddings often require extensive (and expensive) décor to transform a venue. Destination weddings, on the other hand, take advantage of stunning natural backdrops—think ocean views, mountain landscapes, or historic architecture—saving you thousands on decorations.
3. All-Inclusive Packages
Many resorts and venues offer all-inclusive wedding packages that cover everything from the ceremony and reception to flowers, photography, and even your honeymoon stay. These bundled deals simplify planning and help you avoid the endless à la carte costs of a traditional wedding.
4. Combined Wedding & Honeymoon
A destination wedding allows you to roll your wedding and honeymoon into one trip, eliminating the need for separate travel expenses. Many resorts even offer complimentary honeymoon perks when you book a wedding package!
5. Less Pressure to Go Over-the-Top
Traditional weddings often come with expectations of grandeur, from extravagant guest favors to multi-tiered cakes. Destination weddings, however, embrace a more relaxed and intimate vibe, giving you permission to focus on meaningful moments instead of excessive spending.

Wedding Wellness
Your wedding day is a joyous celebration of love and commitment, but it can also be a source of stress and anxiety. Planning a wedding involves countless details, from choosing the perfect venue to selecting the right flowers and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Amidst the whirlwind of preparations, it's crucial not to overlook your own well-being. Wedding wellness is about taking care of yourself holistically, prioritizing your mental, physical, and emotional health during this exciting time. In this blog post, we will explore various strategies to help you achieve a state of wellness and radiance for your special day.
Prioritize self-care:
Wedding planning can consume your time and energy, leaving you with little time for yourself. However, self-care is essential for your overall well-being. Set aside dedicated time each day to relax and unwind. Engage in activities that bring you joy and help alleviate stress, such as practicing yoga, meditation, or taking soothing baths. Prioritizing self-care not only helps you manage stress but also enhances your natural radiance and beauty.
Nourish your body:
Maintaining a healthy diet leading up to your wedding can have a significant impact on your well-being. Focus on consuming whole, nutrient-rich foods that nourish your body from within. Include plenty of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains in your meals. Stay hydrated by drinking an adequate amount of water each day. A balanced diet will not only help you feel energized but also contribute to healthy skin, hair, and nails, allowing you to glow from the inside out.
Get moving:
Regular physical activity is a powerful tool for reducing stress, boosting mood, and increasing overall wellness. Incorporate exercise into your routine to release endorphins and promote a sense of well-being. Find activities that you enjoy, such as dancing, jogging, or practicing Pilates. Not only will exercise help you achieve your fitness goals, but it will also enhance your confidence and help you feel your best on your wedding day.
Manage stress:
Wedding planning can be overwhelming, leading to stress and anxiety. It's crucial to develop effective stress management techniques to maintain your well-being. Consider incorporating stress-relief practices like deep breathing exercises, mindfulness, or journaling into your daily routine. Delegate tasks to trusted friends or family members to alleviate some of the pressure. Remember that your wedding day is about celebrating love, and it's important to keep the focus on the joyous moments rather than getting caught up in perfectionism.
Get ample rest:
Adequate sleep is often underestimated but plays a vital role in your overall well-being. Aim for seven to eight hours of quality sleep each night to help your body recharge and rejuvenate. Establish a relaxing bedtime routine, avoid screens before bed, and create a comfortable sleep environment. Ample rest will not only help you manage stress and maintain mental clarity but also enhance your natural beauty for that bridal glow.
Connect with loved ones:
Wedding planning can sometimes feel isolating, but it's important to maintain connections with your loved ones. Spend quality time with your partner, friends, and family members who support and uplift you. Share your excitement, concerns, and dreams with them. Surrounding yourself with positive and loving energy will help you stay grounded, connected, and emotionally supported throughout the wedding process.
Conclusion:
Planning a wedding involves more than just selecting the perfect venue and color scheme. It's crucial to prioritize your own well-being throughout the process. Wedding wellness encompasses taking care of your mind, body, and soul, ensuring that you radiate joy, confidence, and natural beauty on your special day.

10 Best WaysTo Stay Organized While Planning Your Wedding
10 Best Ways To Stay Organized While Planning Your Wedding
You’re engaged and now what? It’s so easy to become overwhelmed when you first start the planning process. Having a planner provides you the luxury of taking that stress off your plate! But even with a planner you need to know what direction you are going. Here are my top tips to get you started with your planning and make it easier to share with your vendors.
1) Make your Pinterest board. Keep your ideas and color palette in one easily accessible location. You’ll be able to share that board with your planner and vendors.
2) Create a brand new email to use specifically for wedding planning. Remember to check it though so you don’t miss any deadlines.
3) Time to create the budget. Excel or Google Sheets is an excellent tool for this. Decide who is paying for what and keep track of all the details.
4) Delegate some of the tasks to lessen the burden on yourself.
5) Keeping everything digital is the easiest. You can store everything in a file on your phone to always have it handy.
6) Hire your planner or wedding coordinator and see if they have a checklist for you. All those small details are all in one place and can be easily shared with everyone that needs to know.
7) Create your wedding website so all guests can check it instead of having to call you with questions.
8) Get your planner ready! You will be booking lots of appointments and you don’t want to miss any of them.
9) Read all contracts thoroughly. You don’t want to rent candles that a venue won’t let you use or purchase sparklers that can’t be lit.
10) Attend open houses with the venue you select. The vendors there have been vetted by the venue and can be trusted with your important day.
It’s stressful but remember to take care of yourself. Take time to keep dating your fiancé, get the massage, enjoy nights out with friends, take long walks in the sun, and breathe!
